Seems to be back up.

Managed to login (but was on some random VPN - I think Greece).. Then disconnected, shut down VPN to make sure, and reconnected with no issue again without VPN.

I logged off and reconnected minutes later

Thanks Emporium.. that’s the exact same thing that I experienced. U think it was the telco isp playing games , a glitch or just getting ready for the Super Bowl.

It was not telco, since I did try 3 VPN locations first US (New York), France, and Canada (West) and no joy. Switched to Greece, and at first it didn't work. Then all of a sudden it did.. Disconnected VPN and from service, then reconnected and still good.

Probably a glitch or some server being rebooted.

Not really, in fact this is almost always the case through the ups and downs.. Today was no different - it was just short lived thankfully

I was constantly changing channels so whatever happened must have been minutes like last time
so staying on a channel wouldn't help
talked to several people and they never changed channel but went down for a few minutes
and I was informed panel never went down

I can confirm that the panel never went down. I refreshed the panel a few times and many of my subs were changing channels even when I could not connect a new box.

This time, whatever it was, only affected the authentication server(s) gateway.

I have a friend that took his Buzz box to Taiwan with him and wife but forgot the remote. I told him to unplug box for 4-5 seconds then plug it back in. I think that will get the box to refresh list to get Super Bowl category since he can't select menu.

They are also on the hunt for a wireless keyboard/mouse combo to make the next six weeks easier. A keyboard will do most but not all Buzz box functions, enough to get by anyway.

Didn't go down here.. Wife has been watching all morning, and changing channels with no issues.

Keep in mind that many ISP will probably be actively testing blocking/throttling mechanisms today (call it the ECMs of IPTV if it makes it clearer). BE prepared to use a VPN client and/or use the alternate .live with https domain.

ok ill let the cat out of the bag
there are 2 links to wicked the one from your panel
and 1 from stream1 this is not always the case but when
your panel is down the stream1 links will still work yes still work.

the 2nd link in url helper is from stream1 look it has no username/passwords
but the link is still attached to the sub.
ok u can shoot me now!

every iptver should be running url helper!if you dont your missing out on a lot of good stuff

we have disabled a few things to make Superbowl more stable
some the stuff your seeing is us rebooting things and adding more balancers


im sure isps are going to try block iptv servers for this Superbowl if you have vpn be prepared to turn it on
