All of the issues currently being experienced are 110% caused by 1stream panel and there owners/staff
There is no bad config or hardware issues on our side.
Remember back about a week ago, when the only issue that we had was when the panel was under heavy load (i.e. NFL game times) and the connection point server started to have an issue.
Yes, customers could not log in, change channels etc, but if you stayed on a channel there was barely any issue. And the issue sorted itself out within an hour or so.
This was raised as a ticket, and the solution from 1stream, add a 2nd connection point server.
As part of that work they made significant changes in order for that to work (and did not share in a majority of these cases exactly what they had done).
As soon as that was performed by 1stream, we have had nothing but these serious issues on a daily basis.
Nothing else was changed on our side (config or hardware wise), this was the only change that was made.
So, to conclude, we are totally in the hands of 1stream with this issue. It was caused by them and it is upto them to fix it.
The tickets are still open, and they have advised us that they are monitoring everything as it happens.
There panel files are encrypted so cant even go in and fix our self this issue at this time
If anyone reading this ever decides to start there own service I suggest you stay away from 1stream
