My older son is coming for a few days, so time to do the mom thing that I love

All his favorites but I only have a few days to squeeze in as much food as I can.
He will be coming late Sunday night so cheese biscuits with homemade jam in case he is hungry. I will make
multiple batches of biscuits over the few days cuz he eats lots.
Lemon mousse cheesecake with raspberry topping.
Crepes for breakfast every morning with lemon juice and sugar. Just like he always had over the years since little.
There will be a pork roast, yorkshire pudding dinner with garden parsnips and sage and onion stuffing
Probably fresh caught salmon and homemade fries. Shepherds pie or steak and mushrooms
Usually I make 2 cheesecakes and then he takes home any of the second one he doesn't eat
This guy has like 10% body fat so this is the only time he loads up,is when he comes home.
I will be baking 2 lemon loaves and 2 banana bread for him to take when he heads back.

I am going to have fun and it's what I love to do. My mom always made my favs when I came home
He appreciates all that I do and that makes it all so worth while.

    potato soup

This delicious soup only has 3 ingredients! Can you believe it? So easy, inexpensive, and you can keep the ingredients stocked for whenever you need a quick meal.

    Ingredients:

    1 28oz package Potatoes O’Brien
    1 packet Country Gravy Mix
4 tsp Chicken Base or 32oz Chicken Broth

Note: I love the Better Than Bouillon stock that you just add water. 4tsp of Better Than Bouillon and 32oz of water mixed.

    Directions:

Mix all the ingredients together in a large pot.
Bring to a boil while occasionally stirring.
Once it’s boiling, reduce heat and let it simmer until it begins to thicken. (The soup will continue to thicken as it cools).

I added bacon bits and cheddar cheese toppings.
