How did you get Smarters 1.1.6 to work well? I just updated and am having a ton of re-connects and absurd behavior.

I'm having an issue with my iptv:
I had my network changed to a New Provider, thus new Security Password. I made the change to my Smart-TV and can view the Live TV Channels, however, when I try to run my wickediptv, I get the error message, "cannot connect to server, try rebooting your B5", I've rebooted a number of times, still getting the error message "cannot connect to server, try rebooting your B5".
Your help would be greatly appreciated...
Does any other app work on the B5, like youtube ? B5 Connected wired, or wirelessly ? If wireless, did you try to forget the network, and then reconnect from scratch ?
Have you tried with a VPN ? If you are using the default providers equipment (modem/router), it is quite possible that the box is using the DNS servers of your provider, which may or may not be blocking the wicked URL.
I now have it fixed, when I tried to connect to YouTube, as you suggested, I had to select a Network, so I connected to the "New Network" and entered the New Passwword, then I was able to connect to YouTube, I went back and was able to connect to "wickediptv"

Are certain IP ranges being blocked on server end? I’m running into issues where I connect to vpn in usa and some of the ips I connect to cannot connect to server when I open the app.

Thanks it will not play on tivimate getting timeout error but tried on Smarters and it will play after a few minute's thank you
I'm guessing that you're running one of the newer versions of Tivimate.
I suggest trying version 4.7 of Tivimate which doesn't have that timeout error crap.
It's the version of Tivimate that was solid for quite a long time before they started updating it with various bugs.

A few weeks ago ISP was blocking wicked. …. Tried Surfshark …..either would not connect or stuff was still blocked …..tried proton which is free and it did work
This made me wonder is surf shark was the issue and if they were worth paying for

Tried to watch home alone last night on VOD. Played perfect using backup player for 30 minutes,then froze up

Can't comment about this specific movie, but during the week we ended up watching "red one" one evening (starting around 8pm), and it was flawless. No glitches, and I even paused it at one point for a quick break, and it started up right away. This was on my older buzz xrs4900 which I have in the bedroom, and I just checked and VOD/Tv Series player is set for backup player.
This morning I did put home alone on just to see (on my E2 that is in the kitchen). Just for reference, it is also set to use "backup" player for VOD. One thing I did notice is that between the 30 and 40 minute mark (might hve been before but I was not paying attention), I did notice some microglitches. I suspect that since it is a really old movie, maybe the encoding is not exactly "perfect".
Maybe try and see if another more recent movie does the same. Also try the usual, of rebooting your modem/router. just in case.
EDIT: Funny enough, after I wrote this message, the movie froze at 1h36m in (near the end). I hit the FFWD button once to skip a few secs, and it continued. Then it froze again at 1h38m, just before the credits. Hit FFWD again once and it continued till the end. Pretty sure it is something to do with the old movie encoding.
How old is the movie Red One? When was it added to the VOD service.
Is it possible that home alone was added to the VOD library a few years back and is currently stored on the old storage location which is maxed out.
The new movies added currently maybe on a new storage location .
I noticed that some movies (current ones) start up real fast during peak times while some of the older movies added a few months ago , we’re a lot slower to start up during peak times. Just an observation but I maybe wrong.

Red one is relatively new, it was only released in Nov this year, and a WEB-DL version has not been out that long (about 10 days). But I am not sure that VOD is on 2 storages. I am pretty sure sat had mentioned that VOD was now on new storage, and I "assumed" that it was all VOD. Anyhow, pretty sure home alone does not have the cleanest encoding (and it is apparent from some of the microglitches in certain areas (which are reproducible - so not a network issue). Can probably confirm by just downloading it first to local storage and trying to play it locally.
I personally did not notice any difference of loading of VOD during prime time, since the storage change. They are all pretty quick now. Guess sometime after the holidays they will look at addressing the TV Series storage. It is a LOT of data to move over.

Same issue here Dino, many users with exact same complaint about VOD Movies. I was waiting to post to make sure there was no issue with settings or VPN. Issue coming to us. If you download the movie you can watch it with no pausing. This is not a Router issue, Live Tv works just fine and I have several complaints coming in from other users in different states, this rules out routers or modems.
I did not see this months ago, been watching plenty of VODs, last several days it has gotten worse with and without a VPN.
I was able to find a little help with this by setting the Buffer to 1 second. When the movie pauses, jut bump forward one frame and it will resume. Lets hope our team can solve this soon.

No issues with VOD at my end tonight . No 403 message..started up real fast
One of my boxes was streaming from noon to 6pm and no issues at all (jumps between some 24/7 channels, pluto and SamsungTV Plus ones). As others mentioned 403 means you could not reach the destination. Possibly an issue on your side (wifi/wired), possibly even DNS server on your ISP. Holidays are here, I am sure some ISP will ramp up the blocking. Don't forget that wicked has both an .xyz and a .live domain. .live domain is https.
When your boxes can't connect you can always use firefox on a PC and try using the web portal to try and connect.
Live channels working quite nicely this evening without a VPN.

I'm using wickediptv, ours was up all day, been frozen for a couple of hours now. Anyone know what's going on?
I"m using B5. Also rebooted B5 a number of times, that didn't fix the issue.
Have not had a glitch since this morning. Wife is still watching her 24/7 channel since earlier this evening (on a buzz xrs4900), and I am channel hopping between a few and no issues (on an older Buzz E2). VPN is turned off (earlier this afternoon - with VPN on it seemed to have a few things blocked but I did not even bother trying another server, since it worked without VPN).
As mentioned in another thread for another service, There are "Network issues nationwide try rebooting router".
