    We got a fresh (3 hrs ago it was gobbling) turkey from a poultry farmer and will try slow roast the bird on the grill (indirect heat) starting in 1 hr. The vegetables and salad are up to the wife and kids and of course rice, always rice.

    Tonight will be Chinese take out. Simple, fast and less dishes to clean up after.

    Tonight is my son’s first HS Football home game of the season. Since I do the Booster thing I have to be there early so I guess its snack bar food for us. Not bad though, they BBQ a lot of stuff, have pizza, pulled pork sandwiches.......the refs say it’s the best they have seen at a HS stadium.
