(Lunch again) Tossed some garden fresh tomatoes and cukes with flaked tuna, half an onion (thinly sliced), and some homemade teriyaki dressing.

Potluck dinner tonight. I'm bringing my "Sweet 'n Salty Wings"

Looks like pork is the meat tonight. Last Wed was Mother's day but is celebrated this weekend. The family got together and purchased a good size pig and we had it quartered between the 3 sisters and my mother in-law. The family decided that we would all gather at our casa this year and have the traditional celebration. I decided because I am 1 of the only 2 Gringos in this large family to do a 4 kilogram @ 9lbs shoulder slow roasted on the grill w/ baked potatoes and fresh yellow corn obtained locally. The other women are making the traditional chicharrones (deep fried pork in lard) which are absolutely delicious, but I can only eat a little of this artery clogging meal. Then of course the salad w/ their secret dressing using only mayonaise and limon (soooo good)
The kids will have ice creme and cola for dessert and the women coffee, and all us men cervezas (may be some rum will be floating around, hehe). All will be a great 2 day meal for sure.

Put in a baking dish with cream of chicken soup or cream of mushroom. yes you use the milk. I use chicken cause I hate mushrooms. For a thicker sauce reduce the milk by half.
Cover with aluminum foil and throw on the BBQ for an hr then flip then another hr.
Remove and have at it. So tender you will cut the meat with your fork.
    That's what I'm having tonight....^^^^^

Beer butt chicken rocks, once you get the hang of it.I get the beer almost boiling/boiling before I start the chicke.Helps speed up evaporation.

The nectarines from the Niagara region have been insanely good this year. Same with the peaches
