Thread: new wicked iptv server is up for testing

    The Guide was corrected today with the following procedure, which did not happen last night.

    Cleared cache under BuzzTV app. Restarted under settings and a message appeared an update was performed to correct epg data when using a mac login. Even though I do not use a mac login, it corrected my issues on both units.
    Why this update did not happen yesterday is because I failed to "restart" after clearing cache.

    I wish someone would create a troubleshooting guide when these issues arise. It takes lots of time, research, texting in forums, etc etc for simple solutions.

    Buzz responded to my issue and advised "Do Not use Server EPG settings when using XC API login" because setting the guide source to XML not Server will send the entire guide data down at once instead of channel by channel.

    Incidentally I tried the XML setting yesterday, but did not "restart" or "clear cache" so maybe that's why it still dod not work properly.

    What does the the red boxes with white numbers mean in the series section. For example the series "the walk dead: Daryl Dixon" has a red box with a white number 1 in the corner

    this was last night I was away and dealing with this on phone with the staff

    Ok all after a week of hell dealing with all this ****, the data center say they have finally identified an issue in one of our cabs.
    They are going to move ALL of our servers out of this cab and into a new one after peak time tonight.
    This is what I think has been the issue for the past week with random buffering across etc multiple servers with no other explanation.
    Will keep you posted later when this happens as will cause outages/panel offline for short periods while servers are moved.


    they have been moved now so we will see if things get better

    i am still away and checking in on ****ty wifi so need to get a few things done then will look into seeing if any other issues

    so you had a box issue?
    did you post the problem in the buzztv section?
    and then have the audacity to complain that info is hard to find?

    fyi

    there will be a brief outage late tonight on the panel, witch may cause outages tv outage for brief time

    we need to make a couple changes and it will be best to do in middle of night off peek times

    this change should speed up the panels slow response issues, once complete

    Good evening, I am getting reports that the flipping channels are very slow. I have verified myself. Will the changes tonight speed up the speed of flipping to different channels. The panel is very slow to as mentioned already.

    Just a quick feedback:

    Last night channel changes varied from 5-13 seconds per flip .
    Tonight , a marked improvement of 3-4 seconds per channel flip: Would it be possible to be a little quicker . Was quicker before.
    In addition, I haven’t seen any freezing yet for the channels that I watch, about 15 of them. Just Awesome
    All in all, whatever was repaired at the backend sure helped at the end user experience.
    Great work to all involved .

    there is still a few tweaks to be done

    to be honest I am not sure if I can get to it tonight during the off peek times so it may have to wait a day or 2

    I wait till I see loads low as possible to do the work to try not to interrupt anyone viewing

    Ok moved some schedules around so

    1AM EST in around 3 hours time from now
    outages will occur as servers have to be taken offline in order to make configuration changes

    Good afternoon,

    I have been experiencing some freezing for the last 15 minutes on a number of channels. Started around 15:30 eastern time.
    Solid from 12 until then when it was turned on.
    Anybody else experience the freezing ? Box has been rebooted, router left alone for the time being

    CA: Hollywood suites channels have been on and off for a couple of days now.
    Sometimes working and sometimes showing something about............ 'content only available in Canada'
