if you do go to server settings
last 3 slots are for xc api and m3u
I've got all the information entered but keep getting
Unable to Connect to the Server, due to a connection error.
Try rebooting your box.
Which I did but nada. I trying to go over the WiFi connection but can't figure out how to look at the WiFi settings
I get to WiFi Off/On page but can't find the password etc.
The WiFi changes from On back to Off all by itself in 15 seconds. So I think that's the problem?
But that assumes you already have an XC API account.
If he now has a MAC account, is there an option in the panel to switch it to XC API ?
I don't recall seeing anything, but then again all of my subs are on XC API anyhow, so nothing to convert.
I could have swore that I could not get XC API for Wicked working on the 3000 ever since the panel change. Some other services were fine. I have not tried it lately however. I need to find where I've buried it :)
I went to LAN setting and turn Ethernet off but the WiFi still keeps kicking out all by itself?
did you remove /c at the end of portal url?
for wifi go to settings
What are your thought on putting the box back to factory and starting all over?
How do you do that...is there a hole you stick a pin in?
I'll resume tomorrow if you guyz still want to help.
Thanks again for all you do.
coaster
WiFi On
Scanning On
After 15 seconds the wifi radio button goes back to off
Crap.. I recall having such an issue, but can't remember how I solved it.. Can you try turning Bluetooth on (or toggle it). I recall there being some strange link behavior between the 2.
I had ignored it for the longest time since I was typically hardwired, but eventually I managed to get it going.
I'll catch up with y'all tomorrow, if still interested.
I found the factory data reset in Storage & reset......think I should start over?
Have a great night and thanxs again.
I went to Bluetooth and ran: Searching for accessories...
I let it run for about 5 minutes and got nothing.....it just kept searching
I had this device 3000 running hard wired and never used WiFi.
I'm wondering if there is a setting that locks it to Ethernet and won't let it go to WiFi?
That's why I think I'll reset it and start over.....what say you?
If you factory reset your 3000, it wont get the last update that may be needed. You have to side load it.
Someone on the site here gave it to me.
Sorry, didn't know it was in the sticky's.....At least now I don't have to worry about losing it....lol.
