Tonight,vegetarian chilli.The wife is at it again with her anti meat protest.But I have 1 wiener left!
Breaded veal parm with a side of spaghetti tonight.
Chicken legs on the Q this eve. Half honey garlic for Patti and half, I put that chit on everything for pandr. lol
Baked spuds and a garden salad.
Grilling some 16oz rib steaks tonight and local candyman corn.
That sounds good Costact!The wife went down south so I found a big T-bone in the freezer!I wish I had some corn to go with that!
My daughter is home from out west for a week,so we're gonna eat like kings & queens!Tonight we're having slow smoked pigcycles (baby back ribs),broccoli & cheese sauce,with home made deep fried onion rings.mmmmmmmmmmm...........
Poor mans cabbage rolls tonight. If you don't feel like doing all the prep and rolling, this is the ticket.;)
Ingredients
1/2 medium cabbage
Meat layer: 1 1/4 lb ground beef, 1/4 c grated onion, 1 egg beaten, 1/2 c uncooked rice, 1 tsp salt, 1/4 tsp pepper, 1/3 cup water
Sauce layer: 32 oz tomato juice, 4 tsp lemon juice, 1/3 cup brown sugar, 1 tsp salt, 1/4 tsp pepper, 1 garlic clove
Directions
Pre-heat oven to 325, shred cabbage coarsely and place 1/2 in the bottom of a casserole dish (2 1/2 – 3 qt size). Mix meat layer in a separate bowl until well mixed, then spread over cabbage layer. Cover with the remaining cabbage on top. Combine sauce ingredients in pan and simmer for 15-20 min. Pour over cabbage. Cover tightly and cook in oven for 1.5 – 2 hours. Freezes very well!
Enjoy.

Yep tonight is pizza night. Nothing with it, just pizza.
(Lunch again) Tossed some garden fresh tomatoes and cukes with flaked tuna, half an onion (thinly sliced), and some homemade teriyaki dressing.
Potluck dinner tonight. I'm bringing my "Sweet 'n Salty Wings"
Grilling some pork kebabs tonight with tzatziki and a Greek salad.
Looks like pork is the meat tonight. Last Wed was Mother's day but is celebrated this weekend. The family got together and purchased a good size pig and we had it quartered between the 3 sisters and my mother in-law. The family decided that we would all gather at our casa this year and have the traditional celebration. I decided because I am 1 of the only 2 Gringos in this large family to do a 4 kilogram @ 9lbs shoulder slow roasted on the grill w/ baked potatoes and fresh yellow corn obtained locally. The other women are making the traditional chicharrones (deep fried pork in lard) which are absolutely delicious, but I can only eat a little of this artery clogging meal. Then of course the salad w/ their secret dressing using only mayonaise and limon (soooo good)
The kids will have ice creme and cola for dessert and the women coffee, and all us men cervezas (may be some rum will be floating around, hehe). All will be a great 2 day meal for sure.
tonight just a frozen freschetta frozen pizza tweaked up with ham mushrooms sausage

Tonight we are having Curry chicken dish with balsami rice.We lost that "IGA" recipe 3 years ago and we just found it at camp.It was use for a bookmark!This is one of the best recipe ,with curry paste.that we've ever enjoyed and now we have it back!

Probably Kraft Dinner. Add some tuna or hot dog pieces and you'll have a good time!!
