I have 2 satelite dishes with dual lnb on both.

1) first dish points to 110
2) 2nd dish points to 119 & 118
3) using 2 kbox switch on both the lines coming to the 2 different receiver (limesat & nanosat premium).
4) when both the receiver are powered on..there is no signal on 110 on limesat..Nanosat is fine..
5) As soon as I power off nanosat. There is full signal on 110 on limesat..

I have played with lnb power setting (on & off) and also 22khz.. but no luck..

I understand when both receivers are on they are trying to draw power from LNB..

Can anyone help me with this issue? Thanks..

OK, first we need to know what type of dual LNB's your using.

Are they legacy, standard, DP, DP plus, or a different brand then a Dish LNB, and the LNB for 118/119 who made it? Dish or someone else?. (photos of the LNB's will help us)

Now for the switches, Kbox? are they Diseqc switches?

A dual LNB has 2 outputs, a legacy LNB also has 2 outputs, but it uses a +14 and +18 volt DC to switch between the satellite transponder polarity, this type of LNB uses both output ports to do this, one port will have use the +14 volts, the other uses the +18, you need a legacy switch to use this type of LNB..

Now you cant mix legacy LNB's with a DP or a DP plus LNB they dont like it.

We need to know what type of LNB's you have, that is real important in troubleshooting this problem..

And once we know what you have we can jump on this and get it sorted out for you.

Also properly grounding the switch(s) will help, but we can get to that later.

Waiting for your input.

P. S. The reciever will not draw power from an LNB, not unless someting is hooked up wrong or the connections are criss-crossed.

Thanks Teryl

There are all standard LNB. I am not sure who made LNB for 118/119.. I think dish made it..Kbox switches are diseqc switches..
the diseqc switch that is grounded and hooked up to limesat seems to be one with issue.. the diseq that is not grounded is connected to nanosat seems to have no issue.

let me correct myself.. when 2 receivers are powered on.. signal for 110 seems to drop and break.. some channels do have signal.. on limesat
