OBD II P0171 Fuel System Too Lean (Bank 1). More then likely on of the O2 sensors.

A P0171 is one of the biggest pains to track down.... It can be caused by a dirty MAF sensor, a bad MAP sensor (if equipped), or a vacuum leak, among other things... In some cases it could also be caused by a failing fuel pump, regulator, or simply a clogged fuel filter.

Normally when an O2 sensor is the cause, it's accompanied by a P0140 and/or a P0141.

I would start by checking all of the vacuum lines and fittings for leaks....

I agree with you Satchick it is one of the hardest codes to run down. And very time consuming and frustrating. Though I have seen Fords, Dodges and Chevys throw the P0171 code without an accompanying P0140 or P0141 and still have it be the O2 sensor. Bushogg is going to have to test each component one by one. I, because of my experience in the past, usually start with the O2. Also its fairly easy to test.
