I have been running an appletv2 for some time now. If you buy, make sure you purchase version 2. All software readily available to jailbreak and load xbmc. There are many free apps to load and the movies and shows are endless. Of course, some days, some channels work and others don/t. The only outs on the appletv2 are hdmi and optical so you may wish to consider that. Check out xxx.jailbreakappletv.com.

i use wii for my netflix. but im interested in this apple tv2. does it have to be certain firmware to be jailbreakable or any? cuz im thinking in buying the 2 dont wanna buy the 3 and then i can not unlock it . but how to watch chaneels like indian chaneels or arabic channels using . do i have to pay for privet server or just once it's jailbroken i can do that .

Appletv is wi-fi ready. If you go to the site t hat I gave you above, all w ill be explained. There are no fees for the programming. You do however need to be computer savvy to break the unit and load the apps. There is a wide choice of international programming available. Before asking more questions I suggest you visit the site I gave you and Read.

As I stated above. appletv only has hdmi and optical out so if your tv will not connect to these you are out of luck. Hulu does not work as some others do not work also but there are still numerous streaming sites that provide all sorts of programming. There seems to be an awful lot of porn that works though. I wonder why that is???

Works great but the geoblocking puts a real damper on it

I use 1channel and navi x the most. I find them most reliable although the quality of the video is not always the greatest.
