I have old Fortec ultra trying to do motor set up does anyone know the tp for 82 sat? mine is showing 12223, and I think it should be 12224? does it matter? this my most south sat for motor setup.

1 digit doesn't usually make much of a difference. Just a heads up, your fortec will not show you any signal quality at 82 as all the channels on this sat are hd and your receiver isn't. I would give AMC 9 at 83w a shot.

really? I use to use Pansat's years ago and they were not hd at it worked? are you certain of this?

Sat 82 is fully mpeg4 (all hd) and if you are not in Canada or along the nothern areas in the US it will be difficult hitting this bird as the footprint is smaller than before.

I am in Toronto. Si I can get it, but now I need to confirm I will get a signal if I locate it or am I better to look for 83 sat as mentioned.

can someon confirm what is the most southern sat I must look for if I am in toronto? I always used 82, but i could not find this weekend at all, not sure if they will register sice the sat is all hd. Can someone let me know, I have to set up another motor next weekend and I don't want to waste my time loking for a sat that would show up.
