They were neck and neck a couple years ago when I got my iPhone. I'm still pretty enamored with it but I'd jump on the Android if I were to get a new smartphone from scratch. What rom x said.

This is my second Galaxy I have and I will not exchange with Iphone 4 or 4S, because Galaxy has bigger and better screen and more free apps. Can't wait to get my hands on Galaxy Note

From my Samsung, and it never lugged at all, and is galaxy sllx, bigger screen, faster than apple 4s and lightning fast this phone is better and faster than s4 any Time.

Sick phone full hd video with 8mp camera. Android hands down, I learn something new everyday. Sick how customizable it is. Lagging no not usually just gotta make sure apps aren't running that your not using. And os upgradable cant wait for ice cream sandwich to come out.

Have had a samsung galaxy and a HTC and now the iphone 4s..had nothing but problems with the android platform slow loading and freezing on both phones...love my iphone find it better made and quick and user friendly..just my opinion..plus siri answers me more than my wife..hehe

THe samsung has a better OS and fast with better resolution, bigger screen.....and most important is an open source means more free apps. No need to jailbreak it....the only down side for samsung is not enough apps. Compare to I phones, but I believe in the future they will have more apps.

before you do that you need to take a long hard look at these android phones these and only these are the ones to look at. any one of these models will rip the iphone to pieces all are samsung phones here's the list GS2,galaxy nexus,galaxy note. and soon to come the GSIII

i dont care for iphones and have had blackberrys but i like free apps. how are the samsung`s for reception service this is my main thing on a phone due to working on cell fringe area ? i am due for new phone any time now and will check out the nexus or the galaxy s2

reception is more cell provider driven so if your friends who have iphones with att get good reception then you could get an GS2 from att and the reception should be about the same if not better. not too mention the GS2 is a 4g phone and iphone is still only 3g

provider would be telus that they are on. looking at the nexus or galaxy s2x witch is better nexus ?

thanx but no go there gmail is there but no shaw. i got rid of it but cant get it work yet.waiting for shaw 2.0 update. i was on phone over 1hr today with telus and got it narrowed down to that webmail 2.0 update shaw said 2hrs this morning and still waiting :(

Apple is one of the leading brand in making mobile phone so I have to go with Apple iPhone 4S because there are lots amazing features are in this mobile. This mobile is not just for conversation only but very interesting gadget you can say to Apple iPhone 4S.

Anddroid has a lot of fones coming out every month, htc, samsung ,sony, etc. I think every time the iPhone comes out it raises the bar with new stuff android then copies, and has more chances to improve on hardware. I don't like the idea of malware and virus I read about that android get. iPhone always has a better build quality, better materials. Samsungs especially feel cheap plasticky. Then there are the Apps.. sure android has a lot of free apps but most of them suck. iPhone has better and way more apps. Innovation goes to Apple. android is a rip off... they still can't get siri copied and its still in beta. as a rule id say compare the latest iPhone to the latest android phone in or around the iPhone release dates... its not really a fair comparison (hardware wise ) to compare an iPhone 4s with a S2 or any 2012 fone ...

well i hate to be the one to tell you this but the S2 came out before the 4s and that phone blows away the 4s in just every single thing. butter build quailty goes to the s2 if you don't believe me just youtube the S2 drop test. i rock my s2 without a case and have dropped a total of 4 times already on concrete and it still works flawlessly no scraches or cracks on the glass yet. try that for build quality. and siri is a joke siri will not open any apps on the phone. and my s2 will. also siri is not smart enough to go a find music that is not on your phone. when i tell my s2 to play music that is not on my phone it is smart enough to go a find on the web and play it. also the navagation on the 4s totally sucks no turn-by-turn nav. also the 4s is not a 4g phone so it's a slow as my old win95 computer. as far as malware and viruses don't know what your talking about i have yet to get a virus on my phone. and just so you know i had an iphone 4 and i have an ipad3 that i just gave to my kids cause that darn sucks and is very laggy in comparission to my S2. and here my video to prove it.

I have a Galaxy nexus and having problems in down loading the phonebook to my 2012 Lincoln MKX. Able to sync but not working properly. According to Lincoln, the problem is with the phone. Iphone has no problem at all..

Does anybody have the same problem or a solution?

Recommend disabling the Bluetooth PBAB (phone book access profile) before starting your car.

Settings - Applications - Running Services; highlight the Bluetooth PBAP profile so that it is deactivated.

If I do that will I be able to download the phone book? Please give me the step by step procedure to download the phone book. Your help is highly appreciated.

FYI, I have contacted Samsung Nexus tech support and they said it is a compatibility issue with Ford and they cannot do anything right now. According to Ford it is a problem with Samsung phone.

Ultimately what made up my mind was, the unlocked SS Galaxy was cheaper than the Unlocked 4s. Ive had it for about two weeks now and I have no regrets, I haven't found one app the Iphone has that the Android doesn't. I have found several apps the the Adroid has that the Iphone doesn't.
