I have a Dish1000.2 getting 110/119/129 and planning to use an extra Dish500 I have to get 91. What type of LNB should I use? Can I use a DishPro single? Thanks!

Actually called a dp dual due to the fact it has 2 outputs (just in-case you are trying to order), and yes they connect directly to the 4th input on the triple head 1000.2 lnb.

I can say from experience that a standard ln (non-dp) can be used

Thanks folks! Great pic tipster -- looks life a big skew on your 110/119/129. That's something I'll have to play around with to get 91 in So Cal.

Enjoy 91w while you can. When the new 91 satellite is put in place this year, the new footprint will not even come close to you.

Thanks stman, i read such in a couple of threads, yet, just wanted to check it out. By the way, any pointers/links to learn in general about differences of Bev vs Dish?

Not sure what you mean by differences. Signal strengths are comparable for both (unless you are too far south of the 49th parallel) as are the encryption and encoding methods. BEV doesn't have spotbeams. Obviously they have very different channel lists. Won't see much Spanish programming on BEV and almost no French on DN. All Canadian locals are available on CONUS beam (albeit that term doesn't really fit here). Somewhat less premium movie channels on BEV.
