spy eraser???

anyone know how to get rid of spy eraser.it is a misleading application that says your computer has virus.i have a uptodate norton but it doesnt get rid of it. thanks in advance

Search for and download Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware, works great. If your computer won't run any programs, go into safe mode with networking...good luck

in task manager/processes end a file called msctrl32.exe and end process

then do a full search on your computer for that same file and delete it everywhere you find it. also make sure to delete it out of your recycle bin.
