If you went to a 39" dish with the Invacom LNB, you can get even more satellites, the linear FTA satellites are fun to cruse through looking for channels.
I have an Invacom quad polar, but I cant get it to work because the freq range does not go low enough from what I have read.
I want to hit them but I just haven't been able to with this lnb. Not for the sake of not trying over and over again....lol
On the other hand, it may just be me screwing up over and over again....lol

I will start a new thread on this, we are hi-jacking Mcface's thread.

OK, on the Invacom quad, you have to set the LNB type to "standard" iin the sat menus, and the circular side uses 11250 as the LNB frequency, on the linear side you again use "standard" as the LNB type, the the LNB frequency is 10750.
A standard Diseqc switch is then used to switch between "Circular" and "Linear".
I cover all satellites (except for the "C" band ones) from 61W to 129W, on a 39" dish with a motor, I can go further West but they are all "C" band past 129W, I can't go further East then 61W as Mammoth Mountain is in the way, those pesky volcano's just pop up right in the way all the time.

Im gonna give it a whirl tonight.
What sat and tp would you recommend as a test?
I cant blind scan so I will add the tp's manually.
Thanks

Sorry, a bad cold got in the way of finishing up on this.
As far as a satellite, the one most try things out on is 97W, you can try TP 11836 V, with a SR of 20765, and an FEC of 3/4, for a test, it will ID as "PIT" when you get a lock on it.
You know you never mentioned if your dish has a motor on it, that would make things a bit easier to move between the linear satellites.

Yeah it's motorized.
I will try it out after the wife's done watching her movie and post my results.
Thanks

Yah it's not the best thing to move the dish while the wife is watching something, she may not give you back the remote....LOL

Good stuff, that worked Terryl.
It cranked out 167 Tv and 73 Radio chans.
Not sure what my deal was before but clearly it was my issue....lol
Thanks for that, now that I know the setup does work Im gonna play around. :)

Great to see you got it working, I leave mine parked on 125W, I like the 1080i HD channel for PBS on TP 12140V, it's the only one my CoolSat 8000 likes.
