Everyone who knows me also knows I never start cr@p with anybody. They also know I'm far from a WHINER. But if you pee in my cornflakes you'd better look out!

There is a certain member here (we all should know who he is) who likes to lurk between posts and criticize and bash. It boosts his ego to insult or otherwise belittle other members. I have complained to staff about this guy numerous times, but yet his short sarcastic posts and criticisms keep on coming. I can't remember the last time this guy had something positive or informative to say.

Tonight after calling me names, he threatened to shut my ports off and all our posts got deleted. Probably for the better. I don't care about that, I really don't. Funny how his original post criticizing me for simply answering a newbie question was not deleted. Real men don't carry on like he does. Nor do they always need to have the last word. I was being KIND and GENTLE by answering, and got pummelled for doing so. I thought that was the motto here?

NOBODY threatens me.....NOBODY. This is where I draw the line. I will not be bullied by anybody, particularly a member who contributes nothing to this website and does nothing but cause trouble. I don't understand how he has been given a free pass for so long when at the same time many others are afraid to post. I guess the rules only apply to some of us, not all of us.

I'm sure every moderator here knows who I'm talking about, and now this forum has just lost a vip.

Well........I suppose, but it's still gonna take a while. I will concede that I misunderstood the original post, I was only trying to help out a newbie.

I think when you see the same member continually do the same things over and over it's too easy to jump to a conclusion and go into attack mode at the drop of a hat. How does that saying go? "I'm rubber you are glue....what you say bounces off me and sticks to you".

This person knows who he is, and I no longer see his posts nor do I care what he has to say. After this incident I have realized there are also many others here who feel the same way I do but know better than to try to do something about it. :)

I know what you're talking about Joe. I have seen it myself. Even the most patient and controlled person gets frustrated when it reoccurs. Do what you need to do, and put it behind you. Not worth stressing about. You say "you know better than to try to do something about it" Well the simple act of starting this thread, is doing something about it. You bring your issues to the surface, to be witnessed by those who choose to read it. The onus of resolution is no longer yours to deal with. Leave it to the powers at hand, and stress no more about it.

Joe,in my own opinion I think you should reconseder since to me your the man that is helping around I dont believe in insults to other if I cant help I read and absorve,people that results to those tactics show no class and this site is compose of more than one person and not all are like that is people like you that makes this site number one to none.So which you can stay and be able to ignore whats ignorant from its savia plus it shows how little he is or are.!!!!

Nice work for deleting my post in this thread, i guess some of us can post and others get deleted...i wonder how long its going to take before something is done ?....if this would of been a issue at any of the sites i have been on staff at ..the door would of been shout a long time ago.....long live freedom of speech

What I don't understand about this is how clearly everyone knows of the problem and yet the door remains open.
I have seen the member banned here and another site, but that didn't last long.

Without any real value or substance in the postings just ridicule and slander why is this permitted to go on?

You have a respected VIP who pays their dues and supports the forum with their own finances complaining of treatment
received that would of had other members booted quickly if they treated people the same way. The member in question even comes to this thread
and ridicules the OP again, a classless move that displays the exact behavior the OP is talking about.

Maybe the person in question should just start his own site to bash and ridicule people,

And if I may add mac, its up to staff to decide about bans, warnings and sanctions.. If members have issues with DU, just add him to your ignore list..
