Hey guys and good morning. So I'm trying to catch 61.5 and I have a few questions. Currently I doubt I have it aligned properly because of a lack of know-how using the compass and dish pointer ar on my iPhone. I really just don't understand where it is I have to place my phone while I'm using a compass or the dishpointer application. Ima just wait till a bud of mine comes over to help me out. I also have a problem elevating the damn dish cuz of some screw in the way. Hopefully my bud can fix that, anyways. I'm using a different small about 3 foot dish besides the planned for 6 foot dish. I'm using the small one because I can elevate that one etc. So my question is, a have my cable going straight from my dreamlink straight into a legacy Lnb. This legacy has 1 Lnb head with two coaxial inputs. What do I need to put on dish settings?
Is it single Lnb or legacy twin Lnb 1 or Lnb 2, or something else?
Lnb frequency is 11.250 or something else?
Lnb 22khz off or on?
Diseqc SW 1.0 off?
Should I use my sw21 or should I just leave it as is and go straight from legacy Lnb to box? Thanks guys!! Cheers and Beers!

For a legacy dual, one lnb with two output ports, run one wire straight to box. In menu set LNB Type to Single, LNB Frequency to 11250, 22Khz off you need no switch as you are only using one lnb if I am understanding you correctly.

If you use the dishpointer.com site rather than the app, you can enter your location, pin the dish to the location at your house and see a sight line where you can use local landmarks like trees or other houses to help you point the dish. Sometimes newer isn't necessarily better or easier to use. If you simply ignore the app and use the oriented compass (north to north, south to south) heading with the azimuth readout from dishpointer, the dish would/should be pointed correctly.

Im up on roof and I just noticed I have a 6 dish but the problem is that the arm where the Lnb goes attached is on top not on bottom. Does it matter or is it the same? Thanks!!
Update... Ok so I'm on roof with tv and dl hd and I'm testing with a 24in. And on transponder 10 on dvsqk(or whatever it is) it locked on 61.5 west and was blue but now theres alot of clouds and the signal turned red. I assume this is because of how small the dish is. I'm going to try it with the 4footer but the Lnb arm is on top not on botto
. I hope this doesn't affect anything. Please me know it would. Also would anyone know which transponder I should use to tweak signal on puerto Rico? I'm using 10 and 12 but not really sure, thanks!

If someone can also tell me how In the world do I elevate and lower this channel master? It has 5 bolts. 2 on left 2 on right and one on top. So far I've loosened them all but it will only raise a bit but does not want to lower. I say this because I need to lower it to 67.9 and it's elevated to the max?

I would think that if the lnb arm is at the top of the dish as you say, that you have it mounted upside down. You also have to consider that the signal is being collected from the top of the dish, so having the lnb arm at the top is blocking part of the collection area.

Absolutely right on that one. I have a 6 ft. dish and the arms are on the 2 sides and bottom. he's got the face plate mounted upside down on the mount. The dish should have 'UP' written on the back to indicate the top side.
For alignment I use an SD receiver on TP 12414 which has strong signal. 61.5 is low in the sky.
