why do around 20-70 ppl view and no reply

why when someone post a question ,they sometimes get 50-80 views and not one reply ???
its only a mod when he/she passes and read you get a reply, most cases sometimes no one say's*boo*

well if you dont have the answer then there is no need to reply, that is the only reasion i can think of.

I moved you to Chit Chat. Not everyone that reads a thread are going to feel that they have input to help you. Some may want the same answer themselves, but don't want to post. Some questions that you've asked, like the ones about cnxemu, there do not seem to be many using it. That is probably due to the large numbers of cnx users that went to the Nano2. Other questions, like the ones about South American satellites, are even more difficult to answer because most members aren't there. :)

I personally have viewed a post because the question peaked my interest and it was something I also wanted clarification on. I had no answer, just looking to enhance my knowledge.

once i got a answer ,like "i am not to sure its correct, but a person with more info might give you a better answer"
something like that ,and i was glad for that answer..

I wouldn't go so far to say that senior staff are the only ones that can give you answers, but most have been around the block in this hobby quite a few times. Btw... this isn't the only place I've seen your questions without a reply. :) :)

In most cases people title their posts so poorly, the members either skip the thread, or are forced to click on the thread to find out what it is about.... It increases the 'views' but it doesn't do much towards helping to solve the problem.

if i come across one that has already been ask 100 time i skip it! it just goes to show me the the poster does not read and use the search button! ut that is just me! in this hobby you have to read read read and then read some more !

not all of the people who view the topic are members here so they cant post or give a answer, and they found it from google , infact that is how i found this site, if you go to the azbox section and look, i have posted 1 or 2 how too and there were over 2000 views and no one hit the thanks button
and the reasion for that is they are not members here they found the info from google.

great topic.. and you are correct.. i know some forums you must be regis.. to view ppl posts..
and yes i tried another site.. and jeeeezz hardly anyone ever answer thats why i am here.. i gotten more help ...
i now know what is door stops,lnb's, rubb-a-dub-hub's, and lots more..i found out cnx is very very good at sniffing bird poop out the air..
that the other 2 stb's i bought now <book marker's>
and i found out that the middle east sites give me more info for my region.. and 30w.. which i also watch
fashion tv, and a food & home chnl.. my wife love
so i can at least help a newbie.. !!!
