- Lanny Poffo appeared on a podcast hosted by Steve Wilton and commented on the possibility of Randy Savage being inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame this year. Poffo said he did not hear from WWE after his brother passed away last May and that he has not heard from them regarding enshrinement into the Hall.
Lanny claimed last year during an interview that Randy would have only accepted enshrinement into the WWE Hall of Fame if the Poffo family (Angelo, Lanny and Randy) went in together like the Von Erichs. Randy pulled a similar power play in 1995 as Angelo was inducted into the WCW Hall of Fame as a favor from management. Legendary wrestling announcer Gordon Solie objected to Poffo's induction because he did not consider him to be a notable wrestler.
- Former WWE performer Shelly Martinez appears with her sister Danielle on this Saturday's episode of Dog Whisperer with Cesar Millan. The reality program, which features Millan working with "problem dogs," airs at 8:00 p.m. on Nat Geo WILD.
