Hello, I have an FTA that is on a switch on 2 sats for Dis$, can i hook up shaw direct to the 2 empty inputs and use that for both??? I want to take the cord from the Nano when it's down and plug it into the Shaw box and use that same cord, will that mess things up??? 110 and 119 are currently on ports 1 and 2, going into the FTA setup is fine, when system is down i want to take the cord and plug it into the shaw direct port 3. There is a shaw dish and lnb for Shaw, Dis$ is on another satlite dish. Total of 2 dishes adn 1 switch...
Thanks ,

Thanks ,As long as your shaw box supports diseqc commands it should work. Make dure only 1receiver is powered on at a time . Power of your receiver prior to disconnecting/connecting any cables - failure to do do will result in a damaged switch.

Provider boxes will not work with diseqc switches.

they are not compatible at all..................BUT your tv probably has multiple inputs...............so just plug the nano to one input (say video audio) and shaw to a different input (hdmi or rgb or a different audio video)
