- WWE is hoping that the new stage and set will help give live events a bigger feel to them. WWE's website has a new video and photos up promoting the new set. ESPN's Robert Flores appears in the video endorsing the new look for live events.
- Former WWE Superstar Dave Batista noted on Twitter that he recently wrapped filming on "The Man With Iron Fists." The movie was directed by rapper RZA and written by Eli Roth. Russell Crowe and others star alongside Batista. Batista also confirmed that he has been offered a role in Universal's "Chronicles of Riddick" sequel with Vin Diesel.
- RAW Superstar Santino Marella announced that he will be appearing on Friday's SmackDown. He wrote last night:
"be sure to catch smackdown this Friday, i am smeared all over it, or maybe its all lathered up in me, hmmm"
