View Full Version : Want to add a dish 500 to a 1000.4 DPP

I have a I-link 9500 connected to a dish 1000.4,i am on the east coast near Phila.I want to add a dish 500 to my 1000.4 to get the 110 and 119 bird or the 82 and 91 bird. do i connect two short lines from the dish 500 dual legacy lnb,and put a sw-21switch on the two lines and run a single line to the empty port on the Dish 1000.4? thanks for any and all HELP!!!!!

82.0W is a Canada Only beam and Phily is outside of that beam. So not 82. 91 is attainable. If you decide to point the Legacy Dish500 at 119/110 you will need to run those Legacy Dual LNBs in to a DiSEqC switch. Then use a SW21 switch or a 22Khz switch between the Dish1000.4 and the DiSEqC switch. From the SW21 or 22KHz in to the I-link. You can not run a Legacy LNB in to a DishPro Plus input port as you suggested. Do you have any other receivers or switches in your system?
