Hi all! Im hoping someone can help me. I have can get an old 40g AK8CBEH1000. Im not sure what the software version is. Ive been reading about the latest jailbreak 4.0. Does the jb 4 go with whatever update version of the ps3 is? Would i just have to update the console to whatever the latest is on the ps3 update and use the matching jailbreak version? Anyway, can anybody show me a "jailbreak for dummies" version ? I started to download couple jb 4 files but i don't really trust it.

40 g is a bit small once i start saving my games. I need a way to keep them without having to buy a brand new console.
