Dpplus1000.4, 1000.3 dpplus44

I have a sonic view 8000HD. I have Dish 500 set up for 119 & 110 on a DP44. I also have a 1000.4 or I can us a 1000.3 with a DP44. I'm having trouble getting signal for 91 & 61.5 or 72.7. I have them in the proper ports, but I can't make them work. Can someone tell me how to make a 1000.4 or 1000.3 work with a DP44 or is it not possible.

The 1000.4 is setup for 61.5, 72 and 77, you can't get 91 on it unless you add a second LNB to its input. (port #4 on the LNB or on the DPP44 switch)

The DPP44 will work with all of the above but you have to match the outputs of the LNB to the DP44 switch inputs.

Most start at 61.5 on port #1, 72 on port #2 and 77 on port #3, port # 4 can be used for 91.

You switch setting will follow the ports.

Thanks for your input. I failed to mention that I was running 2 DP44s off a SW21 Switch. I get 119 & 110 to work, but I can't get 91, 61.5, 72.7 off of the other DP44. Individually off the sat2 port of the SW21, I can just run the satellite direct to the 2 port but only 110 & 119 come in. I can't get all five sats off 2 DP44s. One on A. One on B of an SW21. I think there's too many switches. Thanks again in advance.

Your right, too many switches, I would look at the EMP Centauri line of switches and get one that can handle 5 satellites, less problems and things to go wrong.

Or replace the SW21 with a standard 22 KHz switch, 22 KHz on = the first DPP44, off = the second.

Your setup should work provided A) Both of the DPP44 switches are powered with power inserters B) Legacy settings are correctly set on the receiver C) LNB type is OCS -DP and diseqc is set according to DP rules, 119=1, 110=2, 61.5=1, 72.7=2, 91=3
Also the SW21 should be dish brand, off market ones are usually junk.

Questions:
1. Is the Dish500 a Twin and is it DishPro or DishPro Plus?
2. If you have a true Dish1000.4, it is DPP and receives 61.5,72.7, & 77.0 - NOT 91. So do you have a separate dish to receive 91 and if so what type of LNB does it have?
3. What are you calling a Dish1000.3 as there is nothing called a Dish1000.3 that I am aware of?
4. Just want to confirm that you have 2 DPP44 switches when you say DP44?

If you have a DP/DPP Twin for 119/110 and you have a Dish1000.4 for 61/72/77, you could indeed eliminate 1 DPP44 switch as you would feed 61.5, 72.7, 77, & 91 into the DPP44 and place the SW21 between the DPP44 and the DP/DPP Twin(119/110).
