Any Projector guys in here!???

I'm looking to buy a black Diamond screen and a good 1080,DLp,3d projector,,higher lumens ,as it will be our tv set,,during the day. HAving said all of that. I'm a tight a$$ ! So I don't wanna buy way more than I need. Thanx upfront!

be prepared to pay alot for bulbs. I learned the hard way that those bulbs last about 2000 hrs or less depending on the setting you use. Its great for movies and special events but not very practical for everyday use. My bulbs cost 400 to replace. I now use lrg flat screens instead

I make sure that I keep my settings to "power save" mode for the bulb.....had it for about 3 years and still works great.....but as stated everyday use will use up those hours...and bulbs aren't cheap....you would be smart to pick up an older projector for now, and buy some 1'x1' boards with "blackout" cloth and make your own screen....Much cheaper, and works very well.....anything over 2000 lumens will do the trick just fine....even in the daytime.....

I have a VeiwSonic projector that I got at a pawn shop , still works great for movies, ppv events , and of course....Superbowl!

Thanx guys!! Yes,,I know about the bulbs,,putting a new one in my JVC 72 Monday,,,second one. Not JVC's fault,,it's on 10 hours a day. And it was a floor model for a year before I bought it! Anyhow,,,I'm usually a HARD shopper,,,But was considering using Best Buys Geek squad on this deal. They come do all the setup,,,I'm assuming wires,and connectors are NOT included? Anyone know for sure? Anyhow,,they'll install for $400,,AND replace one bulb free within 4 years,,,Which I will EASILY need! I just want a nice setup,,,I don't smoke or drink,or chew,or golf,or,,,,I like my family to enjoy our HOME. But I also want a great deal! I was actually gonna get the glass paint kit off ebay. You paint your wall,then dust the crushed glass onto it.. But,EVERY single person I have spoke too,,even every single person selling screens,,says,,,,,IF you can get a black diamond,, GET IT ,and do not look back. Screen Innovations. Best buy has the 92 for $1449. So,I'm leaning that way.. They have also said,,get the projector 1st,,,size it onto your wall,,THEN buy your screen. But I know I want to stay "small" lol,,better pic quality. I don't need 150 inches,,I have the room,,but want a killer picture. Any other advice?? Or deals that you can point me towards? Thanx all!
