I currently have 2 dishes and 2 receivers.
A 20" Dish with 110 and 119 and also a 33" for 118.8
I use 2 diseq for my 2 receivers.
Question:
If I get the dish 1000 plus (b/c I want 129), could I still have 2 receivers?
12296
I see that there is a 2 connections for both 110 and 129. But how about the 118 and 119? Are the 2 connections for 2 different receivers? or they are for 2 different signals?

You would need the DPP44 to run more than one STB with the 1000+ .v1 LNBF. They are offering a new .v2 integrated LNB now that will service up to 3 STBs. In all probability it is a power hog like the rest of the DPP line of LNBs so a DPP44 is most likely the best way to go with it too.

A DP34 switch will also work perfect, especially for FTAs..and costs less usually.. actually i am wrong.. it will work but not for 4 satellites...and since you will have 4 sats then DPP44 is a must...benefit of DPP44 is if you have dual tuner legal diknet box..DP34 is dish pro.. DPP44 is dish pro plus...

They are single ports one marked FSS for 118 and one marked DSS for 119.

Actually, the original wing LNB's were usually only single DP for 110 and 129 too.

A DP34 switch will NOT work for a single switch solution. The DPP44 switch will work for a single switch solution. 119 on port#1, 110 on port#2, 129 on port#3, & 118 on port#4 of the input ports of the DPP44 switch. The power inserter is placed on Rx port#1 of the DPP44, ports#2,#3, & #4 can be used for FTA receivers. All Rx ports(1,2,3,&4) can be used for Dishnet receivers.

Nobody said it would work.

Actually someone did. My post clearly suggested the best single switch solution, not to confuse the OP(chichitsai). Not sure why someone would suggest a switch setup that would not work? . . .? That wouldn't be very helpful.
