So, the trick is to quit 15 years before you die from smoking. :)

a little self control is all you need. i quit ten years ago when our first child was born and i weigh the same now as i did then and the same as i did when i graduated high school.
i guess now after ten years im back to normal according to the chart.

Smoking is altogether hard on your cardiovascular system. It can cause atherosclerosis, which is a condition in which your arteries begin to harden and constrict, causing the bloodflow to your heart to decrease, which in turn, can cause heart attacks and strokes.

interesting chart, but is very general. obviously as mentioned above different weight for people and any other health issues etc.. but as well as the lenghth of time one had smoked is not taking into consideration. someone who only smoked for 5 yrs as opposed to someone who has smoked for 25 yrs must have different healing times? and risks would decrease at different levels. i'm no doctor but seems a logical thought.
