dish 500 pro?

i have a x factor 1 and a dish 500 pro,im in az and trying to pick up 110,119 and im pointing dead south like im suposed to.but its not picking up 110,119 its catching 91 nimqi for some reason.now when i had it using a while ago,the dish 500 i had it pointing at bev 91 but i set the dish to all correct settings on the dish for 110,119 and still not picking it up,could there be something worng with the dish because i was using it for bev91? if anyone could help thx.....

No, if you're picking up 91W, your dish isn't pointed correctly. You need to move it to the west. You can get the pointing correction at dishpointer.com. Be sure to select the 119 and 110 dish from the drop down and use tp 12197 for 119 signal.

Nothing wrong with your dish you need to move it a little to the west and lower to find 110-119, the elevation of the sats. drop down as you go west and go up as you go east,your port settings should be port 1-119, port 2-110, 12297 TP Freq. should work for both as far as setup, if I'm remembering correctly. You will probably also have to adjust the skew(clockwise, counterclockwise) to tweak the dish for best signal.

thx guys for helping out but i talked with a installer here he said point it dead south and i been at dish pointer and for the last 4 days now i been messing with it and nothing i have the skew at 112 and elev,at 50 just like dishpointer said if u guys could correct me on that if my settings r good and if they r, do i point south west or just west.im just lost right now thx guys for quick repley..

If you enter your location on dishpointer, you will see a satellite photo of your house. Move the pin to where your dish is located. That will give you a sight line that you can use local landmarks to help you point the dish.
