Motor function on an stb is totally seperate of nfps, no issue at all. I'm using my nanosat premium with a motor and nfps.

From your dish into a sw21 switch , from your motorized dish to the second port of the sw21 ( or 22khz ecoda) Sw21 to receiver . If you plan to use a circular/linear lnb ( like an invacom) you would either place a diseqc in the above setup between the sw21 qnd motorized dish or just use a diseqc switch to go from 119 to port 1 , 110 to port 2 circular motorized to 3 and linear motorized to 4.

Motors are fun for cruising the belt looking for linear feeds but to just use it for 2 birds it would be a waste of $$, I would just use 2 Dish 500's, one for 110/119, the other for 82/91, then a standard 4 x 1 diseqc switch will keep things simple.
Also if your in the US you may not get a good signal on 82W, as it is a Canada only beam and you have to live above a line from say Washington DC to Portland Oregon to get a signal from that bird, also by this time next year 91W will be replaced by Nimiq 6 and it will have the same foot print as Nimiq 4 at 82W.
You also didn't mention as to what size dish your going to motorize, and what LNB your going to use, if your going to use it for the other satellites (linear birds) then at least a 30" will be a start (39" is recommended) and a good dual circular/linear LNB will be the next choice, motorized dishes are fun to play with if they are a good size and have a good LNB on them.

Sure about that ? :tape:

I know, nothing in life or satellites is simple.........:noidea:
But it worked for me until 82W went to a new bird, I had 119W = port#1, 110W = port#2, (from a DP twin) 91W = port#3 and 82W = port#4, (on 2 DP duals) all on the switch that came with the CoolSat, but then again I don't know about his receiver/switch combo.
When I went motorized it was 119W = port#1, 110W = port#2, circular = port#3 and linear = port#4, the switch is after the motor and it's working to this day.

Yah 2 twins would be a hair pulling time at the zoo, but I've always dream about it, what it would be like to go out with 2 sets of twins.

I plan on using a Invacom with 30" dish and to make things even more challenging I plan on using 2 receivers:>Im near Detroit so finding 82 is a piece of cake .
I have set this motor up before at a previous addy so Im not a total newbie with motors but the switch/nfps thing had me curious .
Thanks for your help and suggestions .
I will let you know how it works out.

I had my motor working with a DP44 switch, ports 1 and 2 were for the Dish 119/110 DP twin LNB, ports 3 and 4 were from the Invacom LNB, port 3 was the circular port, port 4 was the linear.
Receiver port #1 on the switch just had the power inserter on it, #2, #3 and #4 ran FTA recivers.
Changed it back to a standard Diseqc switch when Dish went N3.

If your near Detroit then a 39" dish would work better, some of the linear birds are a bit on the weak side.
