Been trying for the better part of a day to scan Intelsat 14(replacement for the old int1-pas1) without success. All other sats on the American side are present except 45w. If there any others scanning that area your input would be well appreciated.

Costactc....not sure where you hail from, but this bird is going to be very low on the horizon for the east coast, let alone those of us that live from the midwest to the west.
Also I am only seeing 3 transponers available right now for KU band, so you might be limited on what you can find or get from that bird.
What kinda setup are you using to search for this bird? Dish? LNB? Etc?

I'm using my 10' bud. I've checked lyngsat and others- tps that are supposed to be there aren't and all my previous channels are gone as well. Might be transition for setting up the new Intelsat 14.

What I can remember from my old BUD days, is there is a lot of wild feeds up there.....there one day gone the next.
Also as has been said already, the transistion from one bird to the other might be hendering you as well.

I'm aware of the wild feeds, not the case here. There are many c band channels that have been at this sat location for years that have disappeared. I'm scanning at 40.5w at the moment, I'll retry 45 later and post back.
Have you tried looking for the Ku side to that sat?

Just curious, It looks like it might be a strong TP. I took down both my Ku dishes (they were in the way where I'm building my barn) My BUD can only go 55.5 Intelsat 805...I need a 36" Actuator. So I can't tell anything that low
My 1.2 went to Hipsat30

I've tried the ku side- nothing at all and I have a linear lnb, I'd need a universal to check out the tp you posted.
I wish I could get down there my friend. I'd check it out for you.
How do you tell if they are Universal of Standard TP's? :noidea:

Universal lnb cover the whole band- 10700-12750 whereas linear only 11700-12200.
Don't worry about it Gold, I have 3 bud friends scanning just in case we come up with something- think I'll give it a try as well.
