Hey All

Anyone know where i can get a up to date version of simply accounting for free?

Also looking for any programes that i can do a kitchen layout and building program?

Have gone to a few of the freeware sites posted here and have not had any luck.

I use GnuCash for accounting. It is open source and very powerful. I like it better than Simply Accounting.

When you say layout, are you talking 3D or planning?

I have seen some very impressive structural models with walk through's using Blender. For 2D CAD I use Qcad. Have been running a multi-year half million dollar project designs all in Qcad.

I have also given brlcad a try but the way it works is quite different than any program I have ever used before.

Try Ashampoo web site. They may have earlier version of their 3D layout software that you can download for zilch.
