I just scanned in a horse racing feed on Galaxy3 at 95w, modulation is : DVB S2/16APSK. I've never scanned any channel with this type of modulation- scanned in on my manhattan rs-1933:

WOW they are going to extremes to get the HD out aren't they.

For those that don't know:
APSK = Amplitude and phase shifted keying, with this type of modulation you can double the data rate without increasing the RF bandwidth, one data bit at 50% modulation level, the other at 100%, it would be equivalent to 16PSK.

It's my understanding that the new Openbox S11 will decode 16APSK out of the box
