Hi! This summer was favourable for hobby. In addition to T90, which I have from 2004, I have got 180cm and 150cm primefocus dishes, 120cm offset and also 3x80cm offsets (2 of them still pending installation). My final goal is to get all in my area reasonably visible satellites on fixed antennas and also to have possibility to use motorized antenna for the same satellites. I am looking for arc between 96,5*E-30*W.

WOW nice collection of tin, must be nice and shady on that side of the house.
Is the motorized dish going above all the others?
And I like the way you have them mounted and supported.

Nice collection of dishes. Where are you located for your arc being 96.5e-30w? You must be located somewhere near the Middle East or Eastern Europe. When I was in Europe previously my arc was from 86E-43W. Here in NA my arc is 11w-127w.

Location near Riga, Latvia.
Both 180cm and 150 cm stay on turning mechanisms. Actually will use 180 (one with painted picture on) as turning one. Just need proper actuator and positioner.

Nice pics. Just out of curiosity, how many open fta channels do you scan in? When I left Europe in early 2001 I was already pulling in around 1,000. How's the action the HotBird and Astra sats?

Good question! I do not know proper answer. I have never counted channels. During scanning receiver counts services not channels. On Hotbird 13*E there are little bit more than 2000 services, on Astra 19,2*E there are twice less. In reality I watch not more than 50 (if I have time :bawl: ). I also have subscription to local Terrestrial TV. Everithing is connected to dreambox8000 with 2 SAT and 2 Terrestrial tuners.

Nice setup Rima. One more question in relation to your primefocus dishes. I also have a 1.8m ku primefocus dish but I'm using an offset lnb- Invacom twh-031 universal. I would use a prime focus lnb but I can't find a dual as I have 2 coax coming into my house from that dish. Just curious as to what lnbs do you have on your prime focus dishes?

I have those prime-focus dishes less than a month, so not a lot of experience. By now have simple Ku LNBs on both antennas, but by the end of October will get Universal DMX741U C/Ku Band LNBF, that will go to 180cm antenna. For 150 I plan to have C and Ku on multifeed. And, yes, I have "0" experience with C-band yet.

There is still some c band left in your area, especially past 40e. The dmx741 is a solid c/ku lnbf, I used to have it on my 3m mesh bud. It was a pleasure talking to you, any questions you need answering just give me a shout.
