I am using a Dish Pro dish, am I relegated to the 119 & 110 Satellites?
I understand the Spot beam and stuff, but I do not seem to get much... I'm using an SV 360 Elite receiver. Do i need to scan all transponders or will it usually do it for me when I scan a satellite.
Just trying to see if it is me or my dish...
Thanks

Yes, or you could move it and get 82/91... Either way you can only get one pair of satellites at a time with it.

If you think you're missing channels, sure.... You can also do a blind scan which will find everything, even if it's not listed in your transponder list. Keep in mind that with some receivers, scanning twice could result in duplicates, so you'll have to clean up the channel list a bit.

Thanks for the help.... Sounds like I need a bigger dish with more LNB's...

119 and 110 carries basically all of Dish's SD programming other than the internationals. If you are having problems finding some there to watch.... Have you looked at lyngsat to see what you should be getting? If you are missing channels that should be there, what signal and quality do you have?
