long lat help!!!

Hello again! I sure need help out with this! I am useing brand new motech sg2100 on modifyed starchoice dish its 41x40 and i have done everything thats suppossed to be done but! This is the stumper! My lat 53.3,long107.6,motor53.4 on dishpointer.com! Two things! Doesnt say dish elevation and also to get my true south were i live is 107!! How am i supossed to get that lol??? Also been told from moderator on this site i am 2 1/2 out on my lat!! How u fix all that? all advice will be greatful!!!:thumbsup:

There should be an elevation and declination angle table in the instruction manual. I am reading mine... you are at 53.3N lat, so you put elevation angle of the motor at 36.7, and since you have declination angle of 7.6, you will put the dish bracket at
30 - 7.6 = 22.4 on the elevation scale of the dish. To find true south 107.6 long has @ -14 angle, so 180 magnetic south - 14 declination = @ 166 degrees magnetic for your true south. That is where you point your dish with the motor and everything else at 0. Once that is firmly set and everything is tightened up, now you can rotate the dish using the motor to your closest due south sat posistion.
