Good question. I've never seen or read where some one done this. Besides I don't see how you could set the motor to track like that. Of course I guess with enough will power any thing is possible. lol Some said an old superdish wouldn't track the arch but with a mod or two and the use of a cheap cutting board I was able to get mine to track. Both linear and circular birds. Just had a problem with either the vertical or horizontal tps. I can't remember which. Which looking back on it most likely was a power issue. But at any rate that puppy tracked. :D

Who or where did you hear about this? The moving arm will not track the clarke belt that the sats are located on.

It might be a Northern motor used in the Southern regions, remember that South of the Equator everything is 180 degrees off of what we use.
We point South they point North.
Or is that only on the planet Menmack????

iI would say that the person that setup this dish for a photo session had one hell of a hangover when he put it together or didn't know what he was doing .lol

He has the motor mouted upside down! The dish arm has to be pointed down!

... but it's much easier to install the dish on the motor when it's pointing up ( takes half the time):D

He might live way up North, and doesn't have the lower elevation setting on the dish for those outside arc satellites, thus it is up-side-down.
Bad thing is that the motor could get water inside, and you have to program the receiver backwards, East is West and West is East. (or set the receiver up-side-down to match the motor)

You all should see how the motors are mounted when your right on the Equator....
(or set the receiver up-side-down to match the motor)
That will work...lol!
