View Full Version : Is my LNB done?

I've been having problems with my Bev sat. I'm getting Dish no problem but lost signal and quality on Bev a few weeks ago. Checked connections, checked dish to make sure it didn't move but everything appears fine. Replaced switch but still no improvement. How do I tell if my lnb needs to be replaced? It's a really old Lnb looks closest to a standard lnb and has always worked on 11250. Thanks for the help.

It would be easier to replace the LNB with a new one then trying to trouble shoot it.

And I assume you checked your switch settings and LNB type in the 82W/91W settings to see that they haven't been changed?

Yes I did. I even went to Tv and double checked now just to make sure. I guess I'll go get a new LNB and go from there. Thanks.

Try either swapping the lnbs on the dish or connecting the bev lnb directly to the receiver ( no switch) - this will tell you exactly where the problem lies .
