Initial Setup: 91/97 only on a 36" dish

New Setup: Added 110/118/119!!!!!!!!!!!!

Final Result: 91/97/110/118/119 with only 1 36" regular dish! 80-100% signal average!

After hours and hours of being outside, I finally was able to add 1 reg lnb to catch 110, and the circular lnb to catch 118/119 to my currenty setup of 91/97. It was not easy but I finally got it. Here are some pics...

1) From the left (91, 97 in center, then 110 and 118/119)

2) Facing the front of LNB's (118/119 on far left and so on..)

3) Waterproof switch installed behind the dish, nicely organized

Very nice, but just a suggestion, dont use tie wraps especially white ones they become brittle and break.I use radiator hose clamps.

There is already a long screw there with a bolt, I just added those for extra sturdiness... is there something else I can use instead of those? Its actually REALLY secure now, i try to move it and it will not...

I just bolted everything really tightly today. I will have shorter cable's and a cleaner installation tomorrow. I am tired today lol :P will post pics too!

Just wondering where are you located from, because I have 1.2 meter dish I cant hardly get a good signal if i use more than 2 lnb. Im frrom canada.

Guys just wondering... I got the lnb that can catch 118/119 at the same time. I currently got like 85-100% quality on the 119 but only like 50-60 % quality on 118, do I have to skew the lnb?

You may need to sacrifice some quality on 119 to get optimal quality on 118. I use a LNB that can catch 118/119 on the same LNB as well. But my Dish is on a motor. I tweaked 118 for max signal but the best it can do is about 74S and 75Q on most Tps and that is on 1.1 meter Dish. Satbeams says I should get 118 fine on a 30" Dish but I find that is weaker than 119 for sure. Anyways using the same position as 118 for 119 I do lose quality on 119, but since I have my dish on a motor I just tweaked 119 as well and saved the position.

I'm sure you can move/skew the LNB to optimize the signal on 118,what I'm saying is that you might have to sacrifice some quality on 119 doing that. I mean if you can get 75% Q on 118, I think that's good. Porn channels on 110/119 are 487-498

I don't think 497 works on any server though

I have my Dish motorized. Meaning just 1 LNB in the arm. My LNB does both 118/119. I use what is call USALS in the motor menu on my receiver to move the motor. So I tell my motor to go to 118 for example using my receiver. I then manually adjusted the dish so it had the best possible signal on 118. Then saved that position for 118, then I told the receiver to move the motor to 119 and noticed that my signal was a little weaker. I moved the motor a little using the receiver and saved that position for 119. Basically I have saved positions for all my sats, from 82W to 129W and my receiver remembers those positions all the time when I tell it to go to a channel that is not on the current satellite.

just curious this motor thing only works if u have one receiver in house if u have like 2 or 3 receiver is it possible that motor can work on one dish? and give all 3 receiver different channels?

only 1 box can operate the motor. the others are slaves.

Its Cable Tire's, not zip ties... And it is really sturdy, as I said. I already got a long screw with bolt, the cable tire's are just there for more sturdiness

Very nice set up man. I can't even get more than 75% signal for just 91W set up on a 36" dish -_-! That's just 1 lnb 1 big dish and I still can't get good enough signal lol. Probably because it's being blocked by a tree branch even though the tree doesn't have any leaf. Will have to cut down the tree to see if I can get the signal.

LOL, you want to know but you don't want them to work? Yes channels 487-498 are all from 110&119 and you can delete them or block them out should you don't want them to be viewed. Well you know how to get them if you do :)

What is the distance between the 97W and the 119W LNB approximately?
My plan is to test 91/97/118

Thanks

So does it matter if dish is on the roof or on the ground facing building (meaning in the backyard)? Since I'm very frustrating with my setup on the roof done by dish network guy and want to start from scratch. Problem is my roof is way to high to reach!!! Want to get Sat 110, 118 & 119 on 3 FTA STBs
Thanks
