I didn't say it was safe because I don't think it is safe. It is also true that downloading it is not an issue but using it very well could be. In fact I am going to download it myself tomorrow and dissect it and see what if any secret messages are in this one

yes there is always a risk but not quite like this one. You see the OP question about whether the file was safe or not was never answered. For a day and half there was the fact that servers were down, satscams claiming they had control and a new file comes out. Did anybody check a router log or wireshark the thing to see where it was connecting to? Nope they all loaded it, slammed it on the Oprah channel or whatever else trips their trigger and said the file was good. Hell yeah! It works, question is who is running it

Whilst there is a lot of knowledge by those who have, in understanding the working of a file, to be perfectly honest, how many of our members give a thought to who is running it, all they are interested in is getting the file and watching t.v. this is a fact. i give praise to those who bring us the files, and appreciate what they do. life is a challenge, and that includes crossing the road in safety

Yes you are right but nanosats name was mentioned in satscams post on their site. If nos doesn't feel it's safe that is his own opinion and he is entitled to that. People don't need to come down on him or say he is being negative because he thinks that. His suspicions are valid and I think it's smart that he is being safe and checking out the bin first before ever consider using it. Jmo

i feel i made my point, and the answers i gave were just my opinion, i know there are lots of members who converse with the working in getting us files, and they are very knowledgable in their field, i was not coming down on him about Nostrodamus's answer, just the way he portrayed the way he said it.......however as we all know i.e. Bolivia....we take risks. just so we can enjoy this hobby, and watch t.v. it is everyones choice to purchase a stb.....so my friend i will say no more on this subject..............enjoy the evening.............W/H.
