TV land now has 26 mins/hour of commercials...

Its true! I was watching Bonanza the other day and they went 10 minutes straight with no programming... just commercials! If you look at the schedule, 1 hour shows now take 1:10 of time in order to accommodate the excessive adds! That's 10 minutes added to the normal practice of 16 mins/hour.

So... 26 minutes of commercials/1 hour show.

Too much for me... I've changed the channel!!!

some channels will crush the screen at the end credits to roll promos or will have popups when the program starts.
Time to rollback the commercials per hour rate.
1 hour fox programs when viewed online are actually 42 minutes.

Thats about rite. 16-18 min/hour is the norm for shows made these days. So TV Land has to edit the older shows to get that much add time. But that wasn't enough for them... now they've added 10 min forth of adds on top of that! None of thier start/stop times are on the hour anymore... I'm watching 'Leave It To Beaver' and the schedule says 2:25-3:00. That's 35 minutes real time for a show that is a half hour (including commercials). Just plain greed...
