22 khz switch and diseqc switch

If using a 22 khz switch and 4 port diseqc switch with 5 sats how do you set up the receiver menu? I know you switch between on and off for the 22khz but do you have to do it manually every time you want to change sats on the shared port? thanks for any help.

should be automatic,portx 22khz on portx 22khz off.
make sure it isn't a universal lnb,they use the 22khz for internal switching.
Circular lnb or standard ku linear only.

Say 110 is connected to the on port of the 22khz switch and 119 is set to the off port. The 22khz switch is then connected to port 4 on the diseqc.

So in the diseqc settings for port 4 on the stb I can set the 22khz option to on ? The stb will automatically detect 110 or 119 when switched to that channel?

You have to do the setup individually for each bird in you Antenna Settings area on your STB. If you had the 22kHz switch connected to Port 4 on your Diseqc switch you would do your setting for 110 for Diseqc 4 22kHz On and 119 for Diseqc 4 22kHz Off. The STB would then do the appropiate switching depending on whether the channel you wanted to watch was on 110 or 119.
