Hi guys i had my 3g updated to version 4.2.2 i think it was and that firmware ate through my battery like crazy

I had to get it downgraded to 4.1 then the battery lasted i was also told that i have to disabel the multitasking too for the battery to last

My question is anyone here using the 3gs with firmware 4.2 or higher ,and how is the battery life ?

iam currently using a 3g with 4.1 and they disabled the multitasking for me saying that would eat up the battery

But i recently did some reading and installed "features" through cydia this give you multitasking and it doesnt seem to run the battery down

I also downloaded that tunnel Vwallpaper that would eat battery up in a matter of hours

so i guess its the 4.2 firmware had issues with the battery

i am running 4.3.4 on my 3gs and the battery works good. As long as i dont do anything with it... if i start playing with my apps ( addicted to Coin Pirates...lol ) then the battery goes down. We need a running task manager like i have on my LG Optimus One Android 2.2.1 so we can kill backround apps!
