Hey people,

I have a 36" Dish on a SG-2100 motor and I'm looking to upgrade to a bigger dish. I know it can handle 1M dishes but 1.2m seem to heavy for this motor.

I can't seem to find any 39" dishes for sale on Kijiji though :(

Some people try to sell 36" as 39" too.

I can get a very large Ariza 1.2m dish but it's heavy for sure. I would say 31-32 pounds. I have been looking for another motor and I see the SG6000 is kind of cheap like the SG2100. But there is no info on how much weight the SG6000 can handle. Also is the SG6000 from xxxx://www.sg6000.com the original or a clone?

Which motors should be able to handle the Dish I would like to use? Hopefully they are not too expensive. That way I can put my current motor and dish up for sale.

The SG6000 motor has been discontinued due too many clones flooding the market, if it dosnt say " SonSet" on the box its a clone, they now have the SG9120 out to replace it, it is a superior motor as it now has all metal gears.

SG9120 for all dishes up to 1.2 meters.
SG9120B for the Winegard DS2076 dish and the Fortec Star 80 and 90 dishes

The SG9120 is brand labeled as Powermax, anything else may all ready be a clone.

No you have an original, Powermax is the correct brand label.
