Speed controls being used in Eastern Canada

THIS IS CLEVER

GREAT new speed limit device.....I would slow down rather than take a chance!
I don't know about you, but I know this would slow me down! I see myself slowing down, trying to 'straddle' the hole, then breathing again when I cleared it without hitting it! This is actually a speed control device. Scroll down and look at all three pictures! And it's much cheaper than speed cameras!!!

they have a similar thing in Winnipeg only it is the real deal and you could easily lose a PT Cruiser or VW bug in some of them

LOL anybody wants to see them in action try going east on Inkster towards Main LOL

LOL anybody wants to see them in action try going east on Inkster towards Main LOL-no sheeet! funny u posted that,thursday nite past(day before Canada Day) seems someone in a dodge dakota hit a real deep pothole causing the truck to flip upside down and land on a divider in the expresslane of the 401 hwy-of couse it happened during rushhour-the backup closed the hwy down for hours!!thank god nobody was seriously injured,but a whloe lotta folks were pissed!

We've used the real deal here for years. There are some roads that look like they have been in a war zone. In town they love to use speed bumps across the road. At least with the down turn in the economy they are reluctant to spend money on those regardless of how much people complain about speeding.

They are starting to use something around here that the Brit's have used for ages, they call them traffic circles, most don't know what to do when they get into one of these puppy's so they slow down, confuse the masses....Works every time.

We also found a way to slow them down on the Hwy 49 bridge, put in a few clear sections, (small ones) it un-nerves them a bit.
