Hey guys, just some post below I see someone managed to get 5 sats on a 30" offset dish with a Magic Bracket which is impressive. These brackets are fairly cheap and I just ordered 1 for a a friend to get 110/119 on a 32" Dish.
When you use these brackets on a offset Dish you still get full signal on all sats like if the LNB was centered in the Dish?
I have a SG-2100 Motor with a 36" Dish. 36" is more than enough for 119 in my area, it's good for 110 and ok for 129. But I find that 110 and 129 usually have rather low signal. Meaning that 110 has a lot of channels with 68-72 Signal under good weather, of course some channels have great signal close to 80 quality and 129 has most channels with 66-70 under good weather.
However if I tweak 110 it can go to 71-72 the lowest and if I tweak 129 it can also do 70+ quality.
But if I tweak 110, then 129 becomes weaker and if I tweak 129 then 110 becomes weaker. So I have it so I get ok signal on both but I know they can be tweaked for better signal.
Here is my question. If I was to get a Magic Bracket to get 110, 119, 129 on my offset 36" dish, do you guys think I could get max signal on all 3 like if I was just picking up one satellite with the LNB centered?
I thought about putting a 1.2 meter but it was too heavy for the motor. What I do is use 61.5 and 72.7 which gives me great signal but the EPG does not come in for a lot of channels

You loose signal as the cosine of the angle between AZ of the sats (actually a little faster than cosine as there is some loss of efficiency as the coma distortion blurs what you get in the reflection)--this is just regular geometric loss of area. And the spot to put the LNB can be a difficult thing to get just right. I've been playing with the math on this. I do use brackets, but mine are homebrew.

These brackets are fully adjustable though. You can move them up or down, left or right and even turn them. So you can put them where you would get the best signal. I never used one of these before though, all I have done before is strap another LNB to the side to get both 110 and 119. I don't know how someone got 82 all the way 119 on a 33" dish using one of these. He says he gets awesome signal on all sats too. But also maybe for his location a small dish can be used for most of these sats. In my location you need a 30" for 119, 32" for 110 and a 36" for 129, these sizes are to get descent signal on good weather. Just enough signal for 110 and 129 under bad weather like heavy rain and wind. I have had both 110 and 129 lose the signal on a few channels though because these 2 sats are not tweaked for max signal on the motor.

I hope you guys are talking a thread started by me http://www.satfix.net/showthread.php?69313-33-quot-dish-with-82-91-110-118.7-amp-119 The area where I am living I need only 18" dish for 61.5, 110, 119 receiption. or I can receive on a 24" dish 110 & 119. As Saulin said In his area if he need 30" for 119 its better he stick around with a motorized setup. I live in southern Qubeck. Geographically all the sats footprint have strong signal here.
If you wanna try 110 119 129 on a same dish try a elliptical dish. But I still doubt about receiption of 129.
The middle pipe of "Digiwave magic bracket" is straight. In my setup I have bend the pipe to get the signal. Before bendind the pipe I didn't get bev signals. The way of bending might differ in other geographic area.

You are familiar with these brackets?
I guess my question hasn't really been answered. I'm wondering if I can tweak the signal for max signal on all 3 sats 110/119/129 on my 36" Dish.
For the time being I'm using 61.5/72.7/110 with my motor
Oh yeah here are the requirements for my location
For 119 a 30" is good
For 110 a 32-33" will do fine
For 129 it needs a 36" or bigger
That's why it's important to know if using such bracket I will still get max signal on all 3 sats like if I only had 1 sat with LNB in the middle. Also right now I'm looking for a 39" dish or a big elliptical dish on kijiji but haven't had much luck

Well, I have replyed to Saulin's question on this thread. After I submit my post I saw a mesage " It will visible shortly" or something like that
