hey everybody,
i have a 24" dish with a bracket for 118/119, 110, and 129.
i am able to get 118/119 and 110 with no problem w/ great quality but when i attach a lnb for 129 i am not able to pick up the satellite.
can the bracket be faulty? or am i doing something wrong?

129 should be to the left next to 119 looking from the back of the dish.

Depending on your location this dish is likely too small to get 129w i use a 36" dish for that bird and others use a 30" dish.

i am located in the toronto area, i have an extra 18" dish available, would i be able to use that for separate 129 angle, or is the dish too small?

I live on the West coast almost under that bird and have had problems with 129W, you really have to play with the skew on the dish or bracket to get it right.
Or in some areas I have used a 33" dish with a single DP band-stacking LNB on it to resolve any problems.
And some times I get lucky and have absolutely no problems tweaking it in...

You are using a separate dish, there is no reason to have any skew problems due to you are using a circular type lnb.

Lets say for example, someone on EC Canada, would they need bigger than your avg. 24 elip. dish to pick up 129w? Is this one of those locations you are referring too?

This thread is three months old. It's a little long in the tooth to reply to it now. :D
