Welcome Race Fans to the second annual 2011 Satfix NASCAR Pool.

Congrats to RED75 for winning the Coke Zero 400.

The race this weekend is the Quaker State 400 at Kentucky Speedway.

Coverage begins Saturday July 9 at 7:30 p.m. EST. The deadline for picks will be 30 minutes prior to the drop of the green flag.

After qualifying the driver tier list will be edited to reflect those who did not qualify. All drivers who do not qualify will be highlighted in red

Be sure to make yourself familiar with the NASCAR Pool Rules and Regulations.

Make sure that you pick three drivers from tier 1, three drivers from tier 2, and four drivers from tier 3.

Make sure that you post both the driver's name and car number to eliminate any confusion.

Make sure that you pick the lap closest the the first caution lap for a tie breaker.

Sorry for the delay folks....the Dr. was out shooting fireworks for the local 4-H fair.

Congrats to eyeQ for winning tonights race, and hats off to murph001 for tieing for that win.

By virtue of the rules, eyeQ gets the win based on the pick closer to the first caution lap. The first caution lap was on lap 30, eyeQ picked lap 23, and murph001 picked lap 13. Both will get the satfix bux, and both will get the mention in the weekly winners thread, but only eyeQ will get the title change and the bonus points for the win for the chase. (all per the NASCAR pool rules)

I finished 3rd from last this week but if you ck out the spread sheet, I feel everyone did a good job this week. As the cream comes to the top as the season goes on, it may get a little easier but I was impressed at how close the point totals on the spreadsheet were this week.
