Hello,
I would like to use my starchoice lnb to get 97W-101W beside 110 on my lnb bracket
What is the sat id for 97W and 101W that I will get on my receiver ?
Do I need to skew the dish somewhat different than 110-119 ?
Thanks

For 97W and 101W you will need two linear lnb's placed as close as possible to each other. The signal is not very strong on 97W and especially on 101W. Probably is better to center the dish on 101W. Not sure the signal Q you will get on 119, which I am not familiar with. 101W and 97W needs a dish of approx 36 " to get a good quality. Happy testing.
There is another thread in this section where someone has done this, probably a few threads down.

well with all the hard work I have done,.. can't get 97w and 101w ... will try with my $tar¢hoice dish. I think (like onesat said... signal is not very strong) I need a bigger dish or the tree is blocking me. I really looks like I have a blind spot in my backyard

Go to dishpointer.com ,enter your location and desired satellite and the sat photo will tell you if something is obstructing your signal.

look's like I get 91W and below and 107W to 129W,... now I'm building a new shed this summer and I hope to be able to see 97w and 101w. I'm not a very good spot !

Interesting. As far as I remember a toroidal dish T90 will give you the best Q and no way 18 lnb's on that dish. So what size dish are you using and what receiver is reading 100% Q and on what transponders on 97W and 101W. Better tell us what Q reading you have on the sat meter because to many receivers are a joke in terms of reading the Q. On a 1.2m offset dish and using the best linear LNB you can get 100% Q on some transponders only with the dish pointing at 97W and 76-86% Q on 101W. If dish is pointed at 101W you can get 100% Q on 101W but than 82-89% Q on 97W. So please educate us, maybe post a pic. Will be appreciated. I personally do not believe it.

We are talking about STARCHOICE type dish and not a T90...

The point is no way a Starchoice will have 18 lnb's attached and get 100% Q on all of those sats. The best and expensive one will be a toroidal dish T90 and even that one will not give you this kind of coverage. Simple like that.

I like The Ne Plus Ultra bracket for easy installation.
